How similar or different were the different plans for Reconstruction?
This should take the form of a comparison chart with 3 subjects and as many issues as needed to thoroughly
compare/contrast the plans. You must include a comparison statement. You must also state which plan was implemented.

● President Johnson’s Plan
● Congressional Radical Republicans’ Plan
Comparison statement/Thesis:
President Johnson’s moderate plan for the nation had most of the core ideas that Lincoln believed in except he did not want the force the South to take the oath for voting purposes. On the other hand, Congress took a radical approach by wanting African Americans to have all rights a white man would be entitled to and had an unforgiving attitude towards the South.
